During my university years, stress and anxiety was increasingly difficult to deal with. My saving grace came in the form of a colouring book and colouring pencils during study breaks. Before then I was never interested in art or anything creative really. Now I am turning a life-saving hobby into a career. I was born and raised in South Africa, But got the opportunity to move to Belgium in October 2020. What I appreciate most about this country is the friendly people, the language, and of course the frites. Whenever something inspires me, I try to replicate that inspiration in my art and so I tend to draw different things in different styles, and will continue to do so until I can niche down in a few years. Or not. At the end of the day I just love to create something that makes me smile and feel good from start to finish. My hope is that my art can also inspire something inside of every person and their own story when they look at it.
